Who I Work Best With
I work best with women who recognize themselves in some of this:
-
You're carrying burnout that rest hasn't touched, and weekends don't fix it anymore.
-
You look fine on paper but feel guarded, on edge, or shut down underneath.
-
You've lost the thread of who you are beneath the pressure and expectations.
-
An inner critic, a people-pleaser, or a part of you that stays constantly busy is running the show.
-
Old experiences still show up as anxiety, panic, or numbness — and talk therapy alone hasn't moved them.
-
You're in an in-between season: the old version of you doesn't fit, and the next one isn't clear yet.
MY APPROACH
I was drawn to this work after years of watching people show up to some of life's hardest moments with almost no space to set any of it down. That gap pulled me toward therapy: a place to slow down, go deeper, and make sense of what you've been carrying. Not to fix you, to help you find your way back to yourself.
Much of my work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS). You aren't just one fixed version of yourself; you have inner parts shaped by what you've lived through, the inner critic, the part that stays busy so you don't have to feel, the people-pleaser who can't say no. They all developed to protect you, and over time they may be keeping you guarded or shut down. When we get curious about them instead of fighting them, something starts to shift.
Beyond IFS, I draw on Brainspotting to move what's held in the body, CBT for thought patterns that keep you stuck, and Narrative Therapy to make sense of the stories you've been carrying about yourself. I don't work from a one-size-fits-all model, I adapt to what fits for you.

What Sessions Look Like
Sessions are 50 minutes, weekly or biweekly, online across Alberta, BC and Ontario, or in-person in Calgary. The first session is unhurried: we talk about what brought you in, what you've already tried, and what you'd like to be different. From there, the work is collaborative — we figure out what's helpful and adjust as we go. You won't be handed a script or a worksheet stack. Expect to leave most sessions with a clearer sense of what's actually going on inside, and a small, doable next step.
